Oleg Ivanov established X10 Technologies after identifying a significant market opportunity. He recognized a demand for a company that specialized in cutting-edge communication solutions tailored to the unique needs of larger and more intricate networks. Initially, X10 engaged with customers to conduct comprehensive assessments, aiding them in identifying deficiencies within their infrastructure and operational processes. This initial involvement eventually evolved into a broader spectrum of services, encompassing architecture and design, implementation, and ongoing post-implementation support.

The company was not only recognized as one of the top 10 clients in British Columbia but also received special remarks for its outstanding commitment spanning over 10 years.

Oleg Ivanov was originally born in Ukraine, having moved to Canada in the mid-’90s. He serves as the President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of X10 Technologies Company, a renowned solutions provider specializing in advanced IT and security solutions. Oleg’s educational background consists of an Associate in Science degree, a diploma in Network Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems. Additionally, he has earned over 30 industry certifications, underscoring his dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Oleg’s career in the IT industry began when he started as a systems engineer in IT industry. Throughout his professional journey, he has held positions such as Senior Systems Engineer and Solutions Architect, working with well-known technology companies including Hewlett Packard, 2Wire, and F5 Networks.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Oleg took the initiative to establish his first company at the young age of 23. His ventures spanned diverse business domains, including medical supplies, retail stores, a medical clinic, and even a LED screen manufacturing venture. However, in the mid-2000s, Oleg made a strategic decision to establish X10 Networks, an independent consulting company specializing in advanced technological solutions. X10 Networks swiftly gained recognition in the industry due to its exceptional services and equipment offerings. Alongside his consulting work, Oleg also dedicated himself to teaching and providing formal training in network and security technologies to companies and clients worldwide.
Under Oleg’s leadership, X10 Technologies experienced remarkable growth and underwent a rebranding process, resulting in its current name, X10 Technologies, which better reflects the extensive range of solutions and services provided by the company. X10 Technologies expanded its operations and established a strong presence in various markets across Canada and beyond. A notable achievement includes securing a contract with IBM and the Ministry of Education to architect and deploy a new provincial education network, connecting 1600 public schools. This outstanding accomplishment led to X10 being awarded the prestigious Premiers Award. Presently, the company continues its rapid growth trajectory, employing nearly 60 professionals and serving customers across Canada, the USA, and Asia.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Oleg places great value on spending quality time with his family. He also actively engages in outdoor activities and sports during his leisure time..
Julia has a diverse background spanning over 20 years in international business development, customer experience, and project management. Currently working
as Operations Manager at X10 Technologies, she has been instrumental in leading technical and project teams to achieve high-performance results. Previously, as Director of Customer Experience at the luxury boat dealer in Vancouver, she transformed the company’s customer service department, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and retention rates. Julia’s expertise also includes managing educational programs and study abroad initiatives, having held various leadership roles at the largest language school in Canada, and working with Higher Education institutions. With a proven track record of success across multiple industries, Julia is a versatile leader with a passion for driving operational excellence.
Catherine holds a Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Operations Management and is a Certified ISO 19011:2018 Internal Auditor on ISO 9001:2015
She is a business development specialist with 15 years of experience from a diverse portfolio of verticals and expertise ranging from e-learning solutions, ERPs, government negotiations, renewable energy, electrical engineering, energy management, and sustainability products, to complex IT solutions. Her expertise are building and managing corporate structure and governance; building business models and plans;, corporate and project funding and equity raise; ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification preparation and implementation; operations, operations and maintenance, financial, and stakeholder management.
Cali is one of the pioneering employees of X10 Technologies. She has assisted the President and CTO build X10 as it is today.
Currently, she manages the entire sales and operations of our Asia office, building a portfolio of over 75 customers in just 5 years, establishing the vendor and distribution channels to support it.
She has almost 2 decades of experience in sales and operations mainly focusing on technology solutions. Her ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers, as well as her leadership skills have enabled her to identify opportunities for the company to expand its reach and increase its revenue.
Under her guidance, the company is well-positioned for continued success in the Asian region.
Bradley is a highly accomplished and visionary business leader with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Holding a Masters Degree in Business, he has a proven track record of cultivating key relationships, developing and executing successful IT strategies, and consistently delivering exceptional results. With expertise in sales and marketing, strategic planning, team development, and contract negotiation, Bradley brings a unique blend of technical and business acumen that fosters trust and respect in diverse environments.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bradley serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Between Friends, a charitable organization dedicated to providing unique opportunities to people with disabilities. Furthermore, Bradley is leading the development of Canada’s only fully inclusive and accessible indoor playground, which exemplifies his commitment to creating inclusive spaces for all individuals
Nikki Cerezo is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development. As the HR Manager at X10, she oversees all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, and benefits administration. Nikki is highly skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders and driving initiatives that support the company’s growth and success.
Jade is an experienced Project Manager with over 8 years of experience in managing long-term IT projects, teams and independent contractors. Currently serving as Project Manager at X10 Technologies, Jade is responsible for project planning and organization, monitoring progress and timelines, coordinating with project team members, preparing progress reports for the client and company management, and ensuring project success.
Xenia is a knowledgeable, trusted IT advisor and IT Project Manager with almost 20 years of experience working in the technology world. She has a PMP and a variety of technical and sales certifications. Xenia manages X10’s business development team. She aligns our leadership’s vision with customer requirements and our technology partners’ goals, ensuring success and careful follow through.
Ardee has over 5 years of experience in Project Management and Customer Service with proven track record of success. He currently serves as the MSP Support Supervisor at X10 Technologies, managing and developing a support team for managed service customers. Ardee is also an experienced project manager and IT service desk manager with a strong background in web project management, technical support, and customer service.
Maxim leads the design, plan, build, and management of the network and security infrastructure of X10 Technologies customers. He has a proven record in managing highly complex technological systems and projects while maintaining a holistic approach that balances existing and leading-edge technologies. Maxim has achieved significant cost savings for companies, including a $32M implementation of cost-saving highly scalable global SD-WAN network.
Egor Chel is an experienced cybersecurity professional with expertise in ethical hacking, security assessments, and complex network migrations. With over 20 years of experience, Egor provides tailored solutions to clients and excels in troubleshooting complex security issues. He is highly skilled in offensive security tactics and wellversed in LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions. He is a valuable asset for clients seeking expert guidance in cybersecurity.
Adam is a seasoned multi-decade cybersecurity professional with a vast array of certifications under his belt. His career has been eventful, with important contributions to threat analysis, risk management, and advanced security protocol development. Adam’s professional journey includes key roles such as Director of Cybersecurity at CGI, General Manager of Information Security-Incident Response at The Calgary Airport Authority, and General Manager at the City of Calgary.
Recently, Adam joined X10 Technologies as the Director of Technologies, where he leverages his extensive expertise to drive technological innovation and ensure robust cybersecurity measures within the organization. His leadership plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company’s digital infrastructure and guiding the strategic direction of its technological initiatives.
A strategist, financier, and entrepreneur, Greg was previously the Chairman and CEO of Dynavar Networking, where he led the company with over 20 years of entrepreneurial and technical experience. Since founding Dynavar Networking, he has driven the company’s reputation for excellence in integrated voice and data solutions through strategic vision and a deep understanding of market needs. Prior to founding Dynavar Networking, Greg held senior systems support and analyst positions at industry-leading organizations, including Tandem Computers, Motorola Solutions, and Datatech Systems.
After selling his company, Greg has helped notable companies such as Dimension Data,HERJAVEC GROUP LIMITED, Hitachi-ID, among others with their business expansion.
Greg holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a diploma in Electronic Engineering, reflecting his strong academic foundation in business and technology.
During his spare time, Greg loves the great outdoors, spending time with his family of four, and is also a fur dad.
