We held our first face-to-face event on August 21, 2020 in Vancouver. While observing COVID-19 protocols it was great to see people again and to share what we hope was helpful and relevant information for School Districts trying to navigate this current reality.
Our CEO- Oleg Ivanov, who has over 14 years of experience in education technology, initiated this event and he started with a presentation of the goals for technology and remote delivery. Furthermore, Dawn McGuire-Reeves, the education consultant of X10 gave a brief presentation in Addressing COVID-19 and Technology in schools.
The event included a presentation from an educator’s perspective on what the spring delivery of instruction looked like, as well as potential scenarios as schools reopen, and teachers’ hopes, concerns, and even fears going forward. Partner vendors also presented giving the attendees some options for addressing the above challenges.
